Tesco is celebrating its 50th birthday, and with good reason: the food giant has already created a huge brand identity and created a billion-dollar business empire.
The company has been at the forefront of organic and sustainable food innovation, and this year it launched a superfoods line that includes the world’s first line of organic foods, Tsesco’s superfood products.
But what’s the difference between Tesco and Tseso?
Let’s take a look.
What is Tsesoc?
Tesco calls its Superfood line Tsesos.
It has grown from Tesco Superfood Products in 1998 to Tesco Health Products in 2009, but it has not been exclusively sold as Tesco foods for years.
This is the second time that Tesco has expanded its line.
In 2011, the company introduced its own brand name, TESCO, to represent the new and improved Tesco.
But Tesco didn’t end there.
In 2017, the grocery giant added the Superfood brand to its portfolio of brands, adding a new brand name in the process.
The brand is named after the Greek goddess of food, and Tesos name comes from the Greek word for bread, tesos.
The new Superfood range was launched in late March 2018, and it has now been available in stores for more than a year.
The Superfood products in the Tesco line include: Tesco Natural Yogurt Superfood, which is Tesco-made, organic, non-GMO and free of preservatives.
Tesco Fruit & Veg Superfood (also known as the Superfruit) is Tescoms original non-organic fruit & veg range, made with fresh produce sourced from local farms.
Tesos Superfood Premium (also Tescos Superfood Plus) is the Tescos version of the Tesos Organic Yogurt and Tesos Tastemade Fruit & Veg.
The Tesos Fresh Fresh Superfood is a new Tesco Fresh Super Food that is organic, preservative-free and gluten-free.
Tescos Fresh SuperFood is available in supermarkets nationwide and is available at any participating supermarket, grocery store or deli.
Tesesco SuperFood Plus, which Tesco launched in October 2018, is Tescos Superfood’s best-selling Fresh Super Groceries line.
It is made with Tesos non-dairy milk, non GMO and non-gmo meat alternatives, and includes Tesos fresh fruit and vegetables, plus organic whole-wheat bread.
Teso Superfood has sold over 30 million Superfood packs since 1998, making it the most popular line of Tesco products.
Tesio Superfood Pack has been available for just over a year, and is a superstore exclusive.
The store-exclusive Superfood pack includes Teso’s most popular product line: Tesos fruit & veggies.
Tesso Superfood Fresh is Tesos most popular non-sugar, non dairy product, with the option to add an optional dairy product.
The range is available for purchase online, at the Teso store in the UK, and in the store in Germany.
Tesios Fresh SuperGroceries is a free shipping range that includes Tesco superfood range.
Tesoes Superfood Food Pack in the U.K. has been on sale in stores since October 2018.
The product range includes a variety of natural products including apples, bananas, kale, peaches, carrots, pea shoots, peas, pears, strawberries, and tomatoes.
Tesmo Superfood SuperFood has been a supergroceries exclusive since the late 2000s, and was only available in Tesco stores.
It comes in six different flavours: Teso Fruit & Vegetables, Teso Vegetables & Vegetable Juice, Tesos Natural Yogurts, Tesco Vegetable & Fruit Yogurt, Teses Superfood & Fruit Juice, and Teso Natural Yogudges.
The superfood pack comes in 12 different sizes and is suitable for a wide variety of ages, including babies and toddlers.
Tesoro Superfood and Tesso Fresh Super Foods have been available at Tesco supermarkets nationwide since the early 2000s.
The products are sold at Tesos stores, online, in supermarkets and at superfood stores across Europe.
Tesco has a global footprint of over 3,000 Superfood stores and more than 60 Superfood shops, with more than 1,000 Tesos and Tesco grocery stores across the world.
Superfood brands are a big draw for shoppers.
Tesas Superfood in the United States has become a major source of superfood consumption in recent years, and more and more Superfood-focused retailers are adding their Superfood offerings to their stores.
But while the Superhealth and Superfood lines are important brands for Tesco, the superfood brands that are available at each of the Supermarket brands are also important for consumers.
